Welcome to our site! We are Darren and Kelly and reside in the great state of Wisconsin in the United States. I am Darren, the one who loves golf and is the main creator of this web site. My wife Kelly provides invaluable editing as she has far better writing skills. She also provides great support as we move forward in this venture.
I have golfed most of my life, as my Dad taught my brother and I when we were young, I’d say around 10 years old. I then golfed in high school for four years and still love getting out playing as much as I can.
My love for golf and desire to create a web site has now turned into this, Clone Golf Club Advisor. I had the will, and just needed some help with the way. That’s where my web site building journey began…
Well actually, I wanted to make a web site and stumbled onto the topic of clone golf clubs with a little help. I wanted to make a web site for a couple reasons. I thought I was creative enough to create a nice web site and I wanted to find a way to create a web site of some sort to make money. Simple enough right?
As it turned out, it was. But at first it didn’t seem so simple. I hit the search engines in my free time for many weeks. Searching on all kinds of terms and phrases related to web site building and hosting. It’s overwhelming how much information is out there.
Then one day I stumbled onto a page of Site Build It! (SBI). This page compared it’s product to three other web hosting services. I had heard of the other three, but not SBI. But this comparison chart was quite compelling for me, someone who had never created a web site before. Could this chart be true? More research ensued.
I then really hit the search engines excited about what I had discovered. There had to be a catch? And if there is, you can find it on the internet. But I found quite the contrary. I think the best reviews or opinions out there are in forums. These are people giving their opinions about products and services they have used, not someone trying to sell something. This research provided me with proof that SBI actually delivered what it promised.
SBI seemed like a great service to use for my yet to be determined web site, but now what? I wasn't sure what I would create a web site about. From that point on, I never had to leave SBI’s site. They provide an incredible amount of free information to help you get started.
Maybe you have a hobby or a subject you are passionate about? Maybe you have a product to sell? Maybe you have a local business to promote or a service to provide? Maybe you are a student, work at home mom or are retired? If you are willing to do the work, SBI provides you with all the instruction and tools to turn your ideas into a successful web site.
I started by printing and reading SBI’s “Action Guide”. This guide gives you step by step instructions that you can do at your own pace to prepare and build your own successful web site. It sounds too good to be true, but it’s not. There are many examples of successful web sites using SBI. I think the results speak for themselves.
I then printed and read “The Affiliate Masters Course”, another great free e-book from SBI. It’s another step by step tutorial on how to create a web site with great content about a niche you are knowledgeable about. You use your knowledge to pre-sell others products, thus becoming an affiliate. When people go through your site and buy products, you get a commission. It’s a great low risk way to get started with an online business.
You also don’t need any knowledge about the technical side of building a web site. You don’t even have to know what HTML is! SBI provides all the necessary tools for anyone with the will and desire to build a quality, content rich site about any topic they are passionate about. No prior web building experience is needed!
Another invaluable resource once you sign up is SBI’s forums. The forums are a great resource to get any question answered you might have during any phase of researching and building your web site. I’ve spent countless hours searching the forums and have learned a lot from the great people in the SBI community.
