My eBay drivers purchases began with buying a pre-owned Taylor Made r580XD driver. I didn't care for it, so I turned around and sold it on eBay for slightly more than I paid for it. I then tried my brother's Callaway Great Big Bertha II Driver and liked the feel of it. I then searched eBay, found a pre-owned one and purchased it. I like that driver and still have it today. But in the spirit of trying a new driver, this year I bought a new Callaway X460 Driver on eBay. I didn't care for it and sold it back on eBay for $20 less than my purchase price. That's not a huge price to pay to give a different driver a shot. My next eBay driver purchase was a new Callaway FT-3 Driver that I like and continue to use.
As for the irons, two years ago I purchased a set of Titleist DCI 762 Irons on eBay and didn't care for them. I also went and sold them back on eBay for $10 more than I bought the set for. Around that same time, I also found a great deal on a pre-owned Titleist Vokey Black Nickel 50º wedge. I love that club and still use it today.
